Greeting Card #2

Today is my best friend's birthday, and my friends and I have decided to make a greeting card for her.

And, I'm very excited to show it to you guys!

The theme of this card is Red, Green, Blue and Glitter!

Things you'll need-

Decorative Papers
Glitter Pens or Glitter Sticks
Glue
Markers or Sketch-Pens
Pencil
Big and Small pairs of scissors
Eraser
Ribbon
Punch-hole machine
Double-sided tape
Ruler
Cutter (not in the photo; optional)

Steps-

Take a Decorative sheet of paper, and fold it in half. (While choosing an appropriate color, see to it that you have pens/markers that are contrast to the color.)
Decide the design and layout of the card in your mind.
Take a different colored sheet of paper and draw flowers with a pencil on it. See to it that the flowers vary in size from each other. You can choose any design/object instead of flowers.
Cut the background of the flowers by a small pair of scissors or a cutter.
Erase off the pencil marks.
Draw a border on the flowers with a marker to give the flowers a finished look.
Stick the flowers on the front side of the card.
Open the fold, and write the message. You can try different hand-writings and play with the words.
For the cover of the greeting card, take a different sheet of decorative paper.
Keep it on the greeting card, and mark the borders of the card on the sheet.
Extend these borders on BOTH the sides by 1 inch.
Cut the entire rectangle, including the extended borders. (You'll need these borders to attach the 'cover' sheet to the card, as you do not have the back side of the cover.)
Now, fold the borders (and not the extended ones).
Place the card and the cover sheet on top of each other, and punch holes.
Now, let's glitter the card! Take different colored glitter sticks and spread them on the card.
After the glitter is dried properly, draw borders.
Stick the other 'extended' area of the sheet with a double-sided tape.
Put a ribbon through the holes.
